Q. How long will it take to receive my order? A. Before your item is engraved, you will receive a email proof for your approval. After you approve the proof, it will take approximately 7-10 business days for your order to arrive. Q. What is a proof? A. A "Proof" is a black and white picture of what your engraving will look like. Proofs are scaled down for email purposes and used to give you an idea of the layout, spelling, punctuation, etc. If you would like changes to be made, we make those changes and send you another proof for your approval. It is our goal to provide the product exactly as you specify. No work will be done until you have approved the proof. Q. How can I send my photo? A. You can mail, email or upload your photo, image, or logo to the browser during the check out process. If using standard mail, please put your name and phone number on the picture for safety reasons and it will be returned to you with your order. Protect your photo so that it will not be folded or creased during mailing. Q. What type of photos are suitable for laser engraving? A. Not all photographs can be laser engraved with the quality that we expect. If your photo is unsuitable, we will notify you by email and request another photo for engraving. Excellent quality photos result in excellent quality laser engravings. For best results look for photos with high resolution, contrast, good focus, definition and brightness. Your photo can be color or black and white. Resolution should be 300 DPI (dots per inch) or greater and the file size as large as possible. Do not use file compression when saving your image to a file. Digital images can be saved as a jpg, jpeg, bmp, gif, png, psd, ai, or cdr. Q. What type of photo editing can you do? A. We are able to merge most photos to create a natural looking family or group portrait, remove unwanted backgrounds or background features and use a collection of photos for a collage. Q. Do you offer volume discounts? A. Yes, if you need large quanities, please call for a quote. Q. What is your return policy? A. Because items are personalized, we cannot offer refunds. We will gladly replace the item if it arrives damaged or defective.
